It All Begins Here
What is Davis Resilience Grounds?
Davis Resilience Grounds is a family property in Sequim, Washington, stewarded by the Davis family since 1945. Originally purchased as stump land, the property was gradually cleared and developed into dairy pasture before evolving into a small surface gravel operation rooted in an ancient glacial deposit. Over time, portions of the mined land were reclaimed and reforested, earning multiple reclamation awards in the 1990s. Today, approximately 42 acres reflect the historic mine footprint, while surrounding farmland is permanently protected under the North Olympic Land Trust and forestlands are managed for long-term health. In 2026, the property enters its next transition: integrating energy resilience, agricultural continuity, and climate-forward land stewardship within a multi-generational framework.
